Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) – Diesel

Automobile Gas Oil, or AGO, is the term used to refer to fuel used in diesel-powered road vehicles, such as trucks, buses, vans, and cars. Two primary categories of automobile use AGO:

Light-duty vehicles, such as vans, and passenger cars, and heavy-duty vehicles, like trucks and buses

Heavy-duty trucks frequently employ diesel engines. These vehicles are often used in fleet operations, and they receive their fuel directly from the provider at a central location for refueling. Recent developments in engine design now enable light-duty diesel engines to compete with gasoline engines in the light-duty vehicle industry on performance grounds.

Retail outlets are typically used to refuel light-duty cars. Although the emphasis varies, customers in both industries will often want gasoline that offers economy, power, and reliability and environmental acceptability.
