Marine Gas Oil (MGO)

Marine fuels made solely of distillates are referred to as marine gasoil (MGO). All the parts of crude oil that evaporate during fractional distillation and are later condensed from the gas phase into liquid fractions are known as distillates. Typically, a variety of distillates are blended to create marine gasoil. Diesel fuel and marine gasoil are comparable, but the latter has a higher density. Marine gasoil doesn’t require heating when in storage, in contrast to heavy fuel oil (HFO).
